Frog & Toad Houses

Frogs and toads both benefit from having a sheltered habitat where they can rest and avoid predators and can even use some frog and toad houses to hibernate in. These delightful amphibians spend much of their time away from the pond. In the winter months both frogs and toads hibernate under rocks, in a hole, under dead leaves, wherever they are protected from the cold. At the beginning of the year they are busy breeding and in the warmer months spend most of the time in the shade, either resting or hunting among the bushes and plants.
